Position: Cashier

Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to manage transactions with customers accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service and ensure a smooth checkout experience for all shoppers.

Key Responsibilities:
Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions using a cash register or POS system.
Scan and process items quickly and accurately.
Ensure correct pricing and provide accurate change.
Greet customers and assist with inquiries or issues.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Balance cash register at the end of the shift and report discrepancies.
Adhere to company policies and procedures for cash handling.
Assist with stocking shelves or other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is a plus.
Basic math skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and
holidays.
