Buyer / Purchasing Officer – Carpets & Chandelier

Requirements –4-5 years of Purchase officer experience in buying carpets and chandeliers from retail furniture industry Involvement in buying the carpets, chandeliers from outside markets. Must have experience in dealing with suppliers from the different countries. Any Graduate or Degree Holder Good communication in English. Good understanding of supply chain procedures Hands-on experience with purchasing software. Only the candidates who has experience in buying the carpets & Chandeliers needs to send their CV’s for shortlisting process.Job Responsibility:Involvement in Buying, Product Development, Sourcing, Quality Assurance, Production, Planning, Forecasting, Replenishment & Sales.• Tracked inventory shipments• Range & Budget Planning (OTB)• Utilizing all marketing channels and working with Marketing Team and commercial coordinator to drive sales• Delivery of packaging in line with company strategy• Liaise with VM team to achieve best in store displays• Obtain information from store executives to determine types of items required.• Analyzed inventory usage and assessed trends to provide maximum coverage for each time period.• Determined lowest possible cost, factoring in quality and reliability, and negotiated favorable contracts.• Negotiated prices to maintain profit.• Removed poor performing items from future buys.• Schedule after sales meeting with suppliers to assess changes and determine proper courses of action.• Communicated with vendors regarding inventory needs.• Maintained key item stock levels.• Generated reports detailing sales trends and store performances.• Developed and executed marketing programs and general business solutions resulting in increased company exposure, customer traffic, and sales.Please send your updated CV to: [email protected]
