Assistant Teacher

Description

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Assistant Teacher to support classroom activities, assist in managing students, and provide academic assistance under the direction of the Lead Teacher. The Assistant Teacher will help create an engaging learning environment and contribute to the educational development of students.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Lead Teacher in delivering lessons and classroom management.

Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need additional help.

Prepare and organize classroom materials and resources.

Supervise students during classroom activities and outdoor playtime.

Assist in grading assignments, tests, and projects.

Maintain student records and track progress.

Ensure the safety and well-being of students during school hours.

Participate in teacher meetings, workshops, and training sessions as required.

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff members.

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field (preferred).

Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team.

Patience, creativity, and a passion for helping students succeed.

Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.).
