Responsibilities of a Front Desk
Greeting and Assisting Guests – Welcoming visitors, clients, or customers and directing them as needed.
Handling Inquiries – Answering phone calls, emails, and in-person questions about the business.
Managing Appointments & Check-ins – Scheduling meetings, handling reservations, and processing guest check-ins/check-outs (especially in hotels).
Administrative Tasks – Managing paperwork, maintaining records, and processing payments if necessary.
Security & Access Control – Monitoring visitor entry, issuing passes, and ensuring security protocols are followed.
