Position: School Bus Attendant

About the Role
We are seeking a responsible and caring School Bus Attendant to ensure the safety and comfort of students during their journey to and from school. If you enjoy working with children and have a strong sense of responsibility, we encourage you to apply!

Key Responsibilities:

Assist students in boarding and exiting the bus safely.
Ensure all students are seated and following safety rules during the ride.
Supervise and manage student behavior to maintain a safe environment.
Assist younger or special-needs students with seat belts or mobility aids.
Communicate effectively with the bus driver and school staff about any issues or concerns.
Perform regular checks to ensure the bus is clean and orderly.
Respond to emergencies or incidents promptly and appropriately.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience working with children is an advantage.
Patience, compassion, and strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain a calm and positive demeanor in challenging situations.
Basic understanding of safety protocols and first aid (certification is a plus).
Flexibility to work early mornings and afternoons, aligned with school schedules.
