Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with heavy equipment, particularly Shovels, Bulldozers, and Excavators. As a mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of heavy machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

Perform regular maintenance and repairs on Shovels, Bulldozers, Excavators, and other heavy equipment.
Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques.
Replace and repair engine components, hydraulics, electrical systems, and more.
Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with operational guidelines and regulations.
Assist in the preventive maintenance program to reduce equipment downtime.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
Collaborate with the team to ensure equipment readiness and minimize downtime.
Respond to emergency repair needs promptly.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic with specialization in Shovels, Bulldozers, and Excavators.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools and equipment.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Safety-conscious with a strong commitment to adhering to safety protocols.
