Junior Accountant

Description

A Junior Accountant with Data Entry skills is needed to expand our team. You will be able to assist with our financial operations in this capacity and obtain useful expertise in data entry and accounting.
Responsibilities:
*Aid in the creation of budgets, reports, and financial accounts.
*Complete data entry activities, such as payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, among others.
*Verify and reconcile transactions to ensure that financial data is accurate and full.
*Help with year-end and month-end closing procedures.
*Assist the Senior Accountant with different activities and initiatives related to accounting.
*Work together in cross-functional teams to collect and evaluate financial information.
*Respect corporate policies and procedures and keep financial information private.
*To guarantee compliance, keep abreast on industry developments and legal requirements.

Experience, Education, and Talents:
*A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a similar discipline.
*One to two years of data entry or accounting experience.
*Knowledgeable about data entry applications and the Microsoft office suite.
*Strong precision and attention to detail.
*Exceptional time-management and organizing abilities.
*Capacity to operate both individually and together.
familiarity with accounting methods and principles.
*Accounting experience in the construction industry is advantageous.
*Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
