Position Summary: The Security Officer will ensure the safety and security of premises, personnel, and assets by monitoring and patrolling designated areas. The ideal candidate is alert, professional, and able to handle potential incidents calmly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Patrol and monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or other violations
Control access points, verifying identification, and granting or denying entry as appropriate
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents and take appropriate action
Maintain clear and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and reports
Monitor security cameras and other surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activities
Conduct routine checks to ensure doors, windows, and other entry points are secure
Assist in emergency situations, providing direction and support to staff and visitors
Enforce company policies, safety rules, and regulations to maintain a safe environment
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional security or law enforcement training is a plus
Proven experience as a security officer or in a similar role preferred
Strong observation and surveillance skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations
Basic knowledge of security operations and procedures
Physical stamina and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods
Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions
