Production Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production processes, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise Production Staff: Lead and manage a team of production workers, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance. This involves scheduling shifts, assigning tasks, and fostering a positive team environment.

Monitor Production Processes: Oversee daily production activities, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This includes monitoring workflow, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to improve productivity.

Quality Control: Ensure that products meet quality standards by conducting regular inspections and enforcing compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Establish quality benchmarks and address any discrepancies promptly.

Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. This not only improves individual performance but also contributes to the overall success of the production team.

Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, including output levels, downtime, and any incidents that occur. This information is critical for analyzing performance metrics and making data-driven decisions.

Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations and effective communication across the organization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and quality control standards.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
