Description

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. You will be responsible for handling transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the accuracy of cash and card operations. You will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for all customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Process customer transactions, including cash, credit, and debit payments accurately.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and assisting with their needs.
Maintain accurate records of transactions and receipts.
Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
Ensure that the checkout area is clean and well-organized.
Handle returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies.
Assist in other store-related tasks as needed, such as restocking shelves or managing inventory.
Follow all company policies and procedures regarding money handling and security.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Cashier or in a similar role.
Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
Proficiency in using POS (Point of Sale) systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high volumes of transactions.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
