Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring the preparation of high-quality dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, recipe creation, and food preparation.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing training, support, and guidance to ensure high standards of food quality and presentation.
Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards.
Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with the management team to develop new dishes and update the menu.
Handle customer inquiries and special requests with professionalism and courtesy.
Monitor food costs, waste, and portion control to maintain profitability.
Assist in scheduling kitchen staff and managing shifts to ensure adequate coverage.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or management.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role in a high-volume kitchen.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Creative and passionate about food, with a keen eye for detail.
Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
