MEP Supervisor

Description

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in buildings and facilities.
Plan and schedule MEP works, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of projects.
Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to understand scope of work and technical requirements.
Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and tests to verify compliance with design standards and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure that MEP works are performed according to schedule and budget.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, conflicts, and discrepancies that arise during MEP installation and operation.
Ensure that all MEP works adhere to safety guidelines, regulations, and industry best practices.
Train and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to develop their skills and knowledge in MEP systems.
Maintain accurate records of MEP installations, repairs, and maintenance activities, including documentation of equipment, materials, and work performed.
Collaborate with other departments, such as facilities management, engineering, and operations, to support their MEP-related needs and projects.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an MEP Supervisor or similar role in the UAE.
In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Familiarity with MEP codes, standards, and regulations in the UAE.
Proficiency in MS Office applications and MEP software.
