Description

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and oversee import and export shipments, including documentation, customs clearance, and transportation.
Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
Prepare and process import/export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, trade agreements, and customs requirements in accordance with local and international laws.
Coordinate with internal departments, such as procurement, sales, and logistics, to coordinate shipment schedules and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Monitor and track shipments, providing status updates to stakeholders and addressing any delays or issues that may arise.
Maintain accurate records of import/export transactions, including documentation and tracking information.
Assist in managing import/export compliance programs and conducting periodic audits to ensure adherence to regulations and standards.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an import/export coordinator or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and international trade laws.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and import/export documentation software.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
