Barista – Waiter

Description

Greet and accommodate customers to their tables.

Present menu, answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverage.

Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses

Ensure hot food is hot and cold food is cold

Up-sell additional products when appropriate

Mixing beverages using an extensive range of ingredients and following recipes.

Keeping a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply.

Cleaning the bar, tables, chairs, and work area to maintain a sanitary environment

Check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning.

Provide customers with product details, such as coffee blend or preparation

descriptions.

Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software, or writing

down.

Making sure order has been received by kitchen department

Serve food and drink orders

Check dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and report any problems

Pre-bus tables; maintain table cleanliness, bus tables

Deliver checks and collect bill payments

Carry dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning

Follow all relevant health department regulations

Desired Candidate Profile
Indian, Filipino, Nepali

Secondary School

Male

· High school certificate or equivalent and any other related qualifications.

· 2-3 years as Barista or Previously Waiter in a prestigious restaurant.

· Extensive Food and Beverage Knowledge.

· Certification of Barista is an advantage.
