Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and organized Storekeeper to join our supermarket team and manage inventory, supplies, and stock control. As a Storekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate inventory management, efficient stocking, and proper storage of products. Your attention to detail, organization skills, and commitment to maintaining a well-organized store environment will contribute to the success of our supermarket operations.

Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of products and supplies.
Verify and maintain accurate inventory levels using inventory management systems.
Properly store and organize products on shelves and in storage areas.
Label and tag products with accurate pricing and expiration dates.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder products as needed.
Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies to management.
Assist customers in locating products and providing information.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and backrooms.
Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to optimize inventory levels.
Follow health and safety guidelines for storage and handling of products.

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and efficiently manage inventory.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Familiarity with inventory management software or systems.
Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy items.
Basic computer skills for data entry and recordkeeping.
High school diploma or equivalent.
