Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Computer Operator to join our team. As a Computer Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems, managing data processing tasks, and providing technical support. Your strong computer skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot technical issues will contribute to the efficient functioning of our operations.

Responsibilities:
-Monitor and operate computer systems and peripheral equipment.
-Execute scheduled data processing tasks and batch jobs.
-Load and unload tapes, disks, and other data storage media.
-Perform routine system backups and data recovery tasks.
-Monitor system performance and respond to alerts or error messages.
-Maintain accurate logs and records of system activities and errors.
-Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
-Provide technical support to end-users and resolve technical problems.
-Collaborate with IT teams to maintain and update system configurations.
-Assist in software installations and updates as needed.
-Follow established procedures for system operation and security.
-Keep abreast of technology trends and advancements.

Qualifications:
-Previous experience as a Computer Operator or in a similar technical role is preferred.
-Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
-Familiarity with operating systems and programming languages.
-Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-Effective communication and teamwork skills.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
-Associate’s degree or relevant certification in Information —Technology or a related field is a plus.
