Security Officer

Description

Responsibilities:

Patrol assigned areas to ensure the security and safety of premises, property, and personnel.
Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect and respond to security threats or suspicious activities.
Conduct regular security checks and inspections of doors, windows, and other entry points.
Enforce access control procedures, verifying the identity of individuals and ensuring authorized entry.
Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks and maintain order.
Investigate and report security incidents, accidents, or violations of policies and procedures.
Provide assistance and support to employees, visitors, and guests as needed.
Collaborate with local law enforcement authorities and emergency services in the event of serious incidents or emergencies.
Maintain accurate records and logs of security-related activities, including incident reports and shift logs.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in security or a related field preferred.
Strong observation and surveillance skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
Physical fitness and stamina to perform security duties effectively.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
