Description

We are looking for Safety Officer in Dubai. The JD is mentioned below:

Roles & Responsibilities

Keep record of safety-related accidents within a particular time frame
Review existing safety policies and update them where necessary
Supervise the installation of potentially harmful equipment and the disposal of hazardous substances
Inspect the entire company area (both internal and external surroundings), in a bid to finding out any safety concerns or hazards
Recommend appropriate protective equipment that workers should wear while carrying out tasks
Stop the continuation of processes that are deemed harmful to the health of workers
Ensure that procedures for Safety are implemented, maintained & audited
Continuously look for new and improved methodologies to maximize efficiencies and safety standards
Maintain safety standards of the organization
Carry out or organize important safety-related training within the company or organization
The Safety Officer should make sure that every worker is fully aware of the company’s safety policies
Assist with investigations and close out of incidents within the company

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree/ Diploma in Safety Management
2 – 3 Years of relevant experience
Must have excellent communication skills to pass important messages (safety precautions) to workers and management clearly to everyone concerned
Must have in-depth knowledge of safety legislation and procedures/ processes
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills to relate effectively with workers and managers
Computer Literate (MS Office, Excel)
