Description

Responsibilities:

Source and identify reliable suppliers and vendors for required materials, goods, and services.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and favorable terms.
Prepare purchase orders and requisitions based on inventory needs and approved requisitions.
Review and analyze purchase requests and specifications to determine appropriate purchasing methods.
Coordinate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and priorities.
Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
Track and expedite orders to ensure timely delivery and fulfillment of purchase orders.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations in all procurement activities.
Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and service standards.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor information.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer, Buyer, or similar role.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
