Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

Mechanical Technicians are responsible for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of mechanical systems used mainly in Water Industry / Sector.
Responsible for Monitoring, Servicing, Running tests, Troubleshooting and diagnosis.
To work according to the Drawing / Sketch/sample given by the Installation Supervisor.
To carry out the responsibility of Gas cutting, Grinding, Fabricating, Welding, Drilling, fixing, installing and helping in all activities of the workshop and sites.
To select the right tools and resources to carry out site work according to company standards.
To Maintain discipline in the working area.
Appropriate Use of Machines and Tools.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical installation works.
Ability to solve problems and repair equipment on site.
Determining the kind of tools and equipment to do a Job.
Knowledge pertaining to equipment assembling, refurbishment and installations.
Good knowledge of Health and safety regulations for water sectors.
Physically fit to climb ladders or heights.
Ability to perform work independently.
Ability to read Autocad drawings.
Ability to work in confined areas for extended periods.
Ability to deliver instructions within a period of time.
Advanced knowledge of modern equipment, machines & Tools.
Excellent communication skills.
Having a working experience in UAE and other GCC/ North African region.
UAE Driving license is added advantage. Qualification:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical / Electrical § Minimum 3 years experience in Waste Water Treatment Plant and Equipment Manufacturing field.
