Job Title: Junior Accountant

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our accounting team as a Junior Accountant. The ideal candidate will assist in various accounting tasks and gain valuable experience in financial analysis, reporting, and reconciliation.

Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports on a regular basis.
Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns and compliance documents.
Assist in analyzing financial data and trends to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions.
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as assigned.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
