Job Title: Junior Accountant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our finance team as a Junior Accountant. The ideal candidate will assist with various accounting tasks, gain valuable experience, and contribute to the financial health of our organization.

Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records using accounting software.
Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable transactions.
Assist with the processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Prepare and file tax returns and assist with tax planning activities.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Previous internship or entry-level accounting experience is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
CPA certification or progress towards CPA eligibility is a plus.
