Detailed Roles & Responsibilities • Safely transport equipment to site locations in a timely, safe and courteous manner • Maintain driver logs and complete pre-trip inspections • Maintain the service and appearance of vehicle • Follow delivery/pickup instructions from Store Manager • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Store Manager • Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order. • Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles • Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting dangerous goods • Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel, or radiator fluid or performing minor repairs. • Check conditions of trailers/trucks after contents have been unloaded to ensure that there has been no damage Minimum of 2-3 (years) experience as a Heavy Duty Driver in UAE
