Crawler Crane Operators

Description

The crane mechanics are responsible for performing maintenance on the crawler crane including repairs of both mechanical and hydraulics system and using information from Workshop Manual and other hydraulic schematics  Operating the crane under supervision.  Inspecting the crane to ensure its safety.  Performing daily walk-around inspection and carry out routine maintenance.  Carrying tools for running repairs.  Understanding and executing the job.  Driving the crane in the worksite.  Wearing all PPE safety equipment.  Cleaning and maintaining the crane hoisting mechanism.  Using lever and pedal controls efficiently.  Setting up and assemble the crane according to the manufacturer’s operator manual.  Assembly and disassembly of the crane.  Ensure all timesheet completed correctly.  Use and apply knowledge, training, and personal skills to carry out the work allocated.  Ensure that customer requirement and expectations are met, through the provision of quality workmanship.  Ensure that all customer and company property, including crane tools and equipment, are handled appropriately, exercising due care and control.  Maintain a professional standard when discussing work with customers and colleagues.  Comply with Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices.  Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness.  Comply with Company policies and procedures, including the completion of documents and records.  Understand and work in accordance with Quality policy and standards
