Description

Responsibilities:

Plan, design, and oversee construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure.
Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects.
Consider construction costs, government regulations, potential environmental hazards, and other factors in planning stages.
Prepare and present public reports, such as bid proposals, deeds, environmental impact statements, and property and right-of-way descriptions.
Conduct soil testing to ensure the soil is strong enough to support the structure.
Manage the repair, maintenance, and replacement of public and private infrastructure.
Ensure projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time.
Use design software to plan and design transportation systems, hydraulic systems, and structures in line with industry and government standards.
Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure requirements are met.
Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, and other).

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Civil Engineer.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
Excellent project management and supervision skills.
Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
