Description

Responsibilities:

Greet customers and assist them with their purchases.
Scan and process items accurately at the checkout counter.
Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment transactions.
Ensure pricing is correct and apply discounts or promotions as needed.
Issue receipts, refunds, or change to customers accurately.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional service.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a cashier or in a customer service role.
Excellent mathematical and multitasking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle cash responsibly.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
