Purchasing Assistant
An aggressively growing food production and distribution company is looking for a well-organized, energetic purchasing assistant to help the purchaser carry out day-to-day tasks and who can make cost-effective purchases and maintain a fully stocked inventory.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
* Researching market trends & potential vendors
* Maintaining relationships with both vendors and clients
* Inspecting and monitoring the inventory
*Tracking deliveries and updating order records
* Updating relevant spreadsheets and documents.
* Prepare cost analyses
* Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts

SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience as a Purchasing Assistant in a Food Company.
• Excellent administrative and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with purchasing software & advance knowledge of MS Excel
• Good understanding of supply chain procedures
• An eye for spotting market trends.
