Position: Accountant
Location: Dubai, UAE
Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:
Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting regulations.
Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts.
Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Generate financial reports and statements, providing insights to management.
Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and other statutory requirements.
Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Collaborate with external auditors during audits and prepare audit schedules.
Stay updated on industry trends and regulations, ensuring the company’s financial practices are current.
Support financial planning and analysis initiatives.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is preferred.
Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
